Darbhanga Raj campus is beautifully laid-out complex of palaces, temples, parks, garden and ponds. There are a number of palaces like Nargauna Palace, Rambagh Palace, Anandbagh bhawan and Bela Palace. The district is noted for its trade in Fish, Mango and Makhana.
